Distributed Sound & Video Ltd is committed to minimising our environmental impact and will contribute to sustainable development by integrating environmental considerations into our services, management and procurement of goods.

 

 

 

In this context, Distributed Sound and Video Ltd will:

ensure compliance with all applicable environmental legislation and regulatory requirements and with other requirements to which Distributed Sound & Video Ltd subscribes; and expect contractors and suppliers to do to same;
ensure that waste is dealt with in a responsible manner by striving to act in accordance with the waste hierarchy: reduce, re-use, and recycle;
improve energy efficiency by using less energy, considering energy efficiency in the design and installation of all our audio, visual and lighting systems, and where appropriate encouraging more environmentally acceptable means of travel;
purchase environmentally sound and sustainable alternatives where reasonably practicable, and influence our suppliers to do the same;
promote environmental awareness and good environmental practice amongst employees and through our interactions with all customers, suppliers and contractors, especially with regards to the reuse, recycling and environmentally sound disposal of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE); and
constantly seek to improve our performance by monitoring and policy review.

Distributed Sound & Video Ltd will communicate and make this policy available to employees and all persons working for, in or on behalf of Distributed Sound & Video Ltd.
